While not as flashy an upgrade as Microsoft Office 2003 (not to mention Office 2007), v2.x of OpenOffice.org adds to what was already the best value in Windows software. The free, open-source, Office-compatible word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, and drawing combo gets a facelift, a speed bump, and improvements ranging from PDF export to macro recording.
