Symantec's Norton AntiVirus (NAV) is designed to protect your computer from every imaginable type of virus, regardless of whether the virus has been contracted via an Internet download, a floppy disk, a CD-ROM drive, an e-mail message attachment, or your office network.

NAV scans for and removes normal viruses as well as the more advanced Macro viruses (including Word and Office varieties) and polymorphic viruses. Norton AntiVirus even scans up to one level deep within compressed files. (Supported compression formats include ZIP, CAB, MIME, LHA/LZH, PKLite, LZEXE, and ARJ.)
