In addition to delivering an excellent suite of 'net apps, Attachmate's (formerly Wollongong's) Emissary offers seamless, multi-threaded integration better than any other client we've tested to date. Web browser, newsreader, local and remote file management, mail, and telnet services are all offered from one central interface. Inline plug-ins can also be added for even greater versatility and functionality.

While this is all certainly good news, the bad news is that Attachmate has decided to no longer develop or continue support for the suite. So while you can still download and use the suite, there will be no future updates or customer support available, making Emissary a tough choice when compared to the competition.
