Platforms: Windows XP, Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows NT, Windows 2000, Windows 3.x, Macintosh, Windows 2003
Company: David Harris - The Official Pegasus Mail Home Page
Status: Freeware

Pegasus Mail distances itself from other mail clients by sporting an extremely intuitive, great-looking interface and incorporating strong support for integrated address books, mailing lists, and the latest Internet mail standards.

Windows XP-style toolbars, right-mouse button context menus, and extensive drag and drop capabilities work together to also help make Pegasus Mail one of the easiest mail clients to use. The ability to attach or enclose files with a message is also implemented well through support for MIME, UUencode, and BinHex, but the multitude of options can present a relatively steep learning curve for novice users.
