Recent releases of Copernic Agent add a variety of helpful features to help facilitate Internet searches. One of the most useful additions is a pop-up menu option accessible with a right-mouse button click that will launch a Copernic search from your Web browser when you highlight a word. Other additions include Natural Language Querying capabilities (v4.5), skins support with a built-in skins browser (v4.5), a NEAR operator for refining searches, a variety of online shopping search categories, and a large number of new search categories in the Plus/Pro versions (Encyclopedia, Humor, Images, Multimedia, Computer Security, and Yellow Pages).
Additional new features in Copernic include a Software Configuration Wizard, a Search Wizard, the ability to update and refine searches using logical operators (and, or, except, and near), export capabilities for search results (in HTML, XML, text, and DBF formats), proxy/firewall support, configurable timeout and simultaneous transfer settings, integrated tools for IE 4.0+ (including an option to replace the default search button in IE with Copernic), Windows 98/IE4+ Quick Launch support, the ability to e-mail search results in HTML or as text files to friends, connection management options (number of simultaneous connections, number of attempts, and time-out delays), and automatic software updates.
