Panda Software offers daily updates for virus signatures. The program's one-button Intelligent Update rivals Norton's LiveUpdate. You can either update the Virus Signature Database manually, or schedule it to do so in the background with any version of Panda except for the evaluation. It is a very quick and easy way to automatically update your virus software.
Test 4: Daily Updates?
After we installed Panda, we did a quick test for daily updates. When we went in and clicked on the update button, it told us a new update was available. However, we ran into a problem the first time we tried updating and got some strange error. We gave it another shot and from then on it worked fine.
Panda's Intelligent Update system does a great job now, and will only improve in later releases. With the Internet getting new viruses constantly, this is a must-have feature. Test passed.
