Graphics file formats currently supported by Photoshop include PSD (native Photoshop format), encapsulated PostScript (EPS, native Adobe Illustrator format), GIF (both 87a and 89a with transparency and interlacing options), JPEG (including Progressive JPEGs), Portable Network Graphics (PNG), Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF), Kodak Photo CD, TIFF, Scitex CT, DCS, PCX, BMP, PIXAR, PixelPaint, MacPaint, Raw, Targa (TGA), and Amiga IFF/LBM. While Photoshop doesn't support as many graphics formats as Paint Shop Pro or LView Pro, it does support every major format currently used in print and on the 'net.
