CUseeMe is available for only $49.99 with a demonstration release freely available for download whose only shortcomings are that it is an older version of the client and it will only work for thirty minutes before needing to be restarted. The demo release contains version 3.1.1 of the client, while the 4.x Pro edition of CUseeMe is the most recent release available for purchase.
One advantage that the newer Pro edition offers is interoperability with other video desktops like Microsoft NetMeeting, Intel Proshare Video System, Intel TeamStation, and PictureTel LiveLan. The $69 Pro release also offers the ability to connect to a virtual conference room on your LAN via a MeetingPoint Conference Server. Additional features only available in the Pro release include a Conference Companion tool, the ability to view up to 12 video images simultaneously, and an enhanced Directory service.
