There are few features missing in CRT that keep it from being even more competitive with the competition. While not including as many features overall as NetTerm and Kermit for Windows 95, CRT does integrate a solid set of features into an easy to use and attractive interface. Still, at $30, some users will likely find their needs better met by freeware telnet clients like EWAN and Trumpet Telnet.
Several features previously missing in CRT have been effectively addressed in the latest releases -- multiple telnet sessions can now be launched more efficiently with the New Window toolbar icon, Zmodem download and upload transfers are now possible, and ANSI and VT220 emulation modes have also been implemented.
