Unfortunately, Mosaic lacks far too many of Netscape and Internet Explorer's best features, including advanced support for tables (the width tag and nested tables), adjustable font sizes, and support for the latest Web technologies like Dynamic HTML, Cascading Style Sheets, layering, etc. Also, Mosaic's integrated newsreader and internal FTP client aren't nearly as strong as those offered by Netscape and Internet Explorer.
With the final 3.0 release, Mosaic has tried its best to catch up to the competition, but in the end, the overall edge has to be given to Netscape and Internet Explorer.
Pros: The first true web browser, AutoSurfing and collaboration features, feature-set on par with Netscape 3.0
Cons: Final Mosaic release; feature-set far, far behind IE and Netscape
