OptOut
OptOut to the Rescue

OptOut to the Rescue

OptOut bills itself as a clean and simple freeware Spyware Detection and Removal tool, and as such makes for a must-have download for anyone interested in protecting and ensuring their privacy. Currently, OptOut only removes Aureate/Radiate DLL files, but developer Steve Gibson promises to add additional spyware support as needed (and as always, we promise to alert you each and every time a new update for OptOut is released).

As OptOut was the first utility released with the ability to remove Aureate files, it was, for a brief period, the only way to remove these files short of manually deleting them yourself and removing the associated registry entries. While OptOut does a suitable job of handling these details for you, the associated host programs often will not run correctly without them.

Radiate itself has since released its own removal tool that allows the host programs to continue to operate without any problems.
