The recent release of ftpNetDrive 4.0 delivers several impressive new additions to the client. Most notably, users of Windows 2000 and Windows NT 4.0 are finally invited to the party as v4.0 is the first release to officially support these two operating systems. Of course, complete support for Windows ME as well as Windows 95/98 continues with the new release of the client.
ftpNetDrive 4.0 also offers an enhanced file and directory caching system, SOCKS-4 support, an Auto Logout feature, a Send Keep-Alives' (NOOP) feature, and the ability to restore a mapped drive in Connected mode instead of the standard Disconnected mode. A complete list of the changes, feature additions, and bug fixes for ftpNetDrive 4.0 is available from the ftpNetDrive Web site.
