The millennial+1 edition of Microsoft Money is an excellent app made even better by the fact that it's available for a free 90-day trial period. Best of all is that online banking, online bill payment, and Internet quote services are finally enabled with the 2001 edition. Because the U.S. government recently discontinued restrictions on the overseas distribution of strong security technologies like those included in Money's online services, Microsoft can finally include these features in their downloadable trial release.
Like Quicken, Money 2001 handles all of your financial chores for you, including helping you balance your checking, saving, and credit card accounts; devise (and stick to) a budget; create reports and charts for your expenses and revenues; electronically pay your bills (using electronic bills, or E-bills), receive bank statements over the 'net, transfer funds, and more via online banking; notify you of bills that need to be paid soon; plan your retirement; and much more.
