F-Secure offers another unique feature called Web Club that allows registered users to access technical information, program updates, and updated virus definitions on the Web. Web Club and the scanner itself are available on all the major Windows platforms.
Additional features in F-Secure include a non-resident virus scanner, a rules-based scanner designed to detect previously unknown viruses, a checksum program that both detects and destroys previously unknown viruses, advanced scheduling capabilities, and F-Agent -- a traybar icon that allows for easy access to the F-Prot program and also lets you know when Gatekeeper is running in the background.
