HyperTerminal Private Edition (HTPE) upgrades the standard HyperTerminal program that is included in every copy of Windows 95/98 and NT 4.0. While differences between the two editions' interfaces are virtually indistinguishable, the Private Edition does offer powerful features that you won't find in the standard program, making it an essential upgrade for those who frequently use the standard HyperTerminal client.
