Integrated CD Database (CDDB) Support
As with CDValet and most other newer audio CD players, Notify CD Player's most useful feature is its built-in support for the Internet CDDB database. Each time a new CD is inserted into your drive Notify CD Player contacts the Internet CDDB database of your choice and downloads the CD's track and title information.
This information is then saved in the client's local database so that the next time you load the CD the information is already available to the player. With the latest release of Notify CD Player you can also save the information in the local CD Player configuration file so that other applications (like the standard Windows CD Player) can make use of it as well.
