CuteHTML Features and CuteHTML 2.0
Cool features in CuteHTML include an auto-tag fill feature (hyped by GlobalScape as being more powerful than any other HTML editor's auto-tag feature), a multi-document tabbed interface like that of UltraEdit and HomeSite, a navigational bar for browsing local directories and files, auto validation features (using built-in code-for-browser settings), and customizable color-coded HTML tags.
Additional tools and options like an automatic RBG to HEX color converter, unlimited Undo and Redo commands, Smart Anchor/Image dialogs, Code Snippets for reusing small sections of code, customizable templates, the ability to add a site statistics tool to your pages (using site statistics from HitBOX), and a dynamic "View in Browser" function round out CuteHTML's feature-set.
In addition to its new price tag of $19.95 (1.x versions were freeware), version 2.0 adds some essential new features like an integrated spelling checker (with an option for automatic spell checking), built-in Perl and JavaScript support (with several pre-built script snippets), and new online services and tools from the likes of mycomputer.com. A freeware Limited Edition of CuteHTML can still be obtained by downloading the CuteFTP package.
