Alexa with Internet Explorer vs. Alexa with Netscape
Alexa can be downloaded as an ActiveX Control for Internet Explorer v4/5 or as a standard download for all versions of Netscape (as well as for Internet Explorer 3.0). The ActiveX Control for IE 4/5 offers a much cleaner, more attractive interface than previous versions. If you're a regular user of Internet Explorer 4.0 or later, this is definitely the version to download.
If you're not an IE 4/5 user, the benefits of Alexa v3.0 might be enough to win you over to Microsoft's browser. The Netscape/IE 3.0 regular download (currently at verson 1.4.1) offers an amateurish interface and lacks much of the critical information found in the 3.0 and later releases of Alexa. It also lacks the ability to be viewed vertically. On the positive side, it can be moved around the browser screen for optimal placement.
