Additional features that are only available in the WS-FTP Pro edition include auto-reget, or automatic resume, for transferring files after abnormal terminations; a network utilities package with integrated ping, traceroute, finger, whois, and NSLookup clients; support for multi-file transfers; and more.
The Pro package also bundles a printed manual and technical support. Overall, both the Limited Edition and Pro versions of WS_FTP lack the ease of use and some of the powerful features found in competing clients like CuteFTP and FTP Voyager (especially remote file editing), but the Pro version has narrowed the gap considerably and could pose a threat to these clients in the near future.

Cons: Lacks some of the more advanced features found in competing FTP clients, not as easy to use as CuteFTP, expensive relative to the competition
