Features that have made their debut in the latest release of Dreamweaver, version 4.0, include an enhanced built-in text editor (replaces HomeSite) for viewing code with a Split View mode for viewing Code and Design Views at the same time, a new Layout View, and support for Macromedia Flash Buttons and Text support which allows you to creat editable vector graphics.
The list of new additions continues with roundtrip graphics editing with Macromedia Fireworks, a built-in JavaScript Debugger, a new Asset Panel, a Macromedia Exchange Web site for downloading Dreamweaver extensions, and much more.
