Three Editions of Personal Stock Monitor Now Available
The enhanced Gold release of Personal Stock Monitor augments the standard release with a number of useful features for diehard investors. These include the ability to set alerts on spread, gain, EPS, and open interest; notification support for e-mail and alphanumeric pagers; and the ability to run external programs on an alert.
International investors can take advantage of the Gold client's support for additional international quote servers as well as automatic currency conversion (with online FOREX rate updates). Additional features in the Gold release include a portfolio detail view, news date indicators for selected servers, and the ability to display SEC EDGAR filings for stocks in your browser.
Another new edition of PSM, Personal Stock Monitor SE, made its debut in early 2000. The SE edition is an ad-supported freeware release that offers most of the same features as the Standard edition. The only features lacking in the SE release are support for real-time quotes, visual and audio alerts, and password protection for your portfolios.
