The latest release of ZipMagic, ZipMagic 4.0, takes all of these features and combines them into one central interface. ZipMagic 4's completely redesigned interface, called the ZipWindow, allows you to Zip and Unzip files as well as preview graphics within compressed files. The ZipWindow also provides easy access to ZipMagic's configuration toolbox and to the seven ZipMagic easy wizards -- ZipExtract, ZipCreate, ZipSelfExtract, ZipConvert, Zip&Mail, Zip&Backup, and ZipRepair.
A new EZUpdate feature makes it simple to check for and automatically download new product upgrades over the net with the click of a button. Additional new features include the DownloadMagic plug-in for downloading files with Netscape or Internet Explorer (DownloadMagic expands upon and supplants the ZipSurfer plug-in introduced in ZipMagic 98), a new Windows command line version specifically designed for power users, new self-extracting archive options that allow you to add your own custom icons to archives and to span archives over multiple floppy disks, additional support for anti-virus software, and more.
