A number of additional "power" features have been added in recent releases to help put even more distance between this consummate newsreader and the competition. These include enhanced e-mail functionality (including mail receival capabilities), a much-needed status bar (progress indicator), MIME support, cross-post management, advanced sorting (on five different keys) and filtering, kill/watch lists, right mouse button functionaliy, multilinqual support (for the entire program), user-defined folders, single-key navigation, auto-launching for URLs (full hypertext support), and import/export newsrc files.
The latest release of Agent, v2.0, rounds out an already stacked feature-set with global sorting and message sorting improvements, a new spell checker, an undo feature, yEnc support, MAPI support, SMTP Authentication support, news filtering, global message searching capabilities, spam detection and prevention tools, mail and news secure login capabilities, a new development platform (wxWindows), and customizable toolbar capabilities.
