Quick View Plus Minor Faults and Conclusions Forrest Stroud
Minor Faults and Conclusions
Despite its numerous selling points, Quick View Plus isn't totally without any faults. The most notable drawback is that even with QVP installed you'll continue to need separate plug-ins for file formats not currently supported by Quick View Plus like Shockwave, Envoy, VRML, and audio/video multimedia files (such as MP3 and WAV soundbytes).
Overall though, while Quick View Plus doesn't handle every imaginable type of file, the super-deluxe viewer does cover a vast majority of the most commonly used file formats. Couple that with outstanding display speed, an equally impressive feature-set, and an inexpensive price tag, and the result is an app you won't want to live without.
Pros: Quickly views, prints, and manages 200+ types of files from within your browser
Cons: Lacks support for some formats like VRML, Acrobat, Envoy, Shockwave, etc.
