WEBPLANET Tools 2000
Introduction
Jim Fox

The days of stand-alone computers are long gone. In the business environment, computers are networked together on a company intranet, and linked to the Internet. In the home, it is now hard to imagine owning a computer and not being connected to the Net. It stands to reason that someone would develop a set of office tools to make it easier to complete your online tasks on the Internet or company intranet. The folks at WEBPLANET Corporation have done just that with their product WEBPLANET - Tools2000.

WEBPLANET - Tools2000 is a 32-bit suite that runs in Windows 95/98 or NT 4.x and is promoted to both beginners and the power users. The current version contains 6 programs: Finder, Checker, Spy, Crawler, Analyzer and Grabber. WEBPLANET - Tools are currently available in English and German, and soon in other languages. It appears that the program was originally developed in German and ported over to English. This is a tool kit worth looking at if you spend a lot of time on the Internet.
