RealNetworks RealPlayer Plus G2 Preferences and Summary Ben Durbin
Preferences can be the most important part of a program. Realplayer Plus G2's preferences allow you to match your player with your system. It does this by letting you set: general, display, content, upgrade , connection, transport, proxy, performance and support preferences.
Summary
RealPlayer Plus G2 is definitely a step in the right direction for streaming media content. The only problem is that with most of the channels and stations you will need a really high speed connection to avoid at least some stuttering.
With Apple's recent release of Quicktime 4, its version of a streaming content player, RealNetworks does have a decent competitor. But what does that mean? I'm not promising you anything, but that could mean that the next big thing is the Multimedia Players War. But that would be great for users. All players striving to be the best makes for better players.
But all-in-all, if you don't have RealPlayer Plus G2, go out and get it today! With its new interface and features, RealNetworks brings you an improved and very handy multimedia player! But it will be interesting to watch and see how streaming content, or multimedia players, shape up in the future.
