Now this review may not make you run out and upgrade or purchase the Microsoft Office Suite to get your hands on Word 2000; naturally, choosing to upgrade is a personal choice. We have tried to identify new and enhanced features of Word 2000 that may help you decide if this upgrade is for you. We feel that there are plenty of new and enhanced features in the new package to warrant the upgrade, but your decision is of course based on need and desire. But it truly is one heck of a nice package! Word 2000 comes as part of Office 2000, which requires a minimum of a 75 Pentium with 16 Meg of RAM; an additional 4 Meg is needed to run Word 2000 for Windows 95/98. Office 2000 on an NT 4.0 requires 32 Meg (plus at least Service Pack 3), plus 4 Meg to run Word 2000.
