As a Microsoft Certified Professional, I can personally vouch for industry recognised qualifications. You can add them to your resume, giving you the edge over that guy with the dodgy eyebrows.
In essence, the more qualifications the more cash in your pay packet. And if that isn't an incentive to get studying, I'm lost for words.
