Keystone Learning Systems MCSE Certification Pro Rewind...Not Fade Away! Karl Moore
The basic MCSE CD-ROMs (or videos) cover the follow course content:
Windows NT 4.x
Networking Essentials
TCP/IP for NT 4.x
Exchange Server 5.5
That's over 20 CD-ROMs! The series is complimented with 19 aptly-christened KeyNote guides, short user-friendly manuals ideal for exam revision.
The basic kit costs $1,299.95 or each CD-ROM/video can be purchased separately for $89.95. However, other options are available - such as the MCSE Certification Plus and MCSE Plus Internet route, each packing more info than the previous.
At first, I had to pick my jaw from the floor... but it's not a bad price in comparison with regular $2500-per-week courses. And to steal an old marketing slogan, you can "rewind... not fade away!". After all, you can't play a course again. Unless you have a cinematic memory, which probably applies to no-one 'cause I just made it up.
Despite the constant American accent and occasional mystery word ("route" pronounced "rowt") - a minor issue which will only affect those not from the U.S. of A. - and one rather embarrassing opening title spelling error, I really can't fault the Keystone Learning system.
The series is certainly educational, covering all you need to know to get that final certificate. And a really huge pay raise. And a company car. And a free copy of my "Project Delay" book.
