From the moment I inserted the CD in my drive, I realised the whole thing was a bad idea. The installation program suggested the directory "C:GSP", which I altered to "C:Program FilesPower Publisher" being the organised computer owner I am.
Hmm, no problems there. Or so you'd think. Following installation, I noticed the directory "C:GSP" containing templates linking to the CD. Tut, tut.
Ignoring these teething problems, I blindly continued. Upon startup, I'm presented with a cool looking launch menu. From here, I can run Pressworks, Designworks, Address Book, PhotoEditor, Picture Browser or install Netscape Navigator. The package also comes bundled with two extra CDs containing a grand total of 20,000 photos and clip-art images.
First on the list is Pressworks, the core of Power Publisher. This package is the main DTP feature into which all the other bundled components plug-in.
