X-10 PC Home Control Kit Bundled Software Karl Moore
Software installation was a smooth process and, apart from having a tacky Windows 3.1-like look, it's darn innovative. For instance, after adding a new module using the menu, it'll display an image of the selected device, ensuring you've connected the correct item.
The software can also divide the modules by area. For instance, you can group all your PC-controlled kitchen devices into one section - separating them from your guest room devices. Supercool!
Apart from being bloomin' useful, the Home Control press guys also boast its flexible and expandable nature. And, indeed, they're telling the truth. New appliance modules can be ordered using the in-box details - from extra modules to snazzy remote controls. Just a few dozen more modules and $10 million - and, yep, I'll be a step closer towards that dream house.
