The interface is very readable and straightforward. It has a standard toolbar and menus. The interface shows four main types of information at once: user's login, logging window, system attributes and user messages. These help in administrating the current accesses and attributes while helping you see what is going on at the moment.
The interface is not configurable. You can't resize any of the boxes to your liking and you can't hide the toolbar or status bar. The user's dialog window is a great way to adjust user's access and privileges and it is very easy to use, but not as easy to understand.
War FTP Daemon comes complete with help files and even a converter from Serve-U FTP. It supports Macros for detailed administration and also has a report feature. You can get reports on statistics and all types of user information along with password properties.
War FTP Daemon also allows you to edit all the Messages that the users might see when logged in. The Virtual File system is one of the best of its kind. You can even use the MS_DOS type file system or the Unix file system. It has sound alerts and filters.
