If you visit our site often you might remember a review that we did several months ago on Visual Calendar Planner 4.3. Well InkLine Software Labs has bounced back with a brand new update to it's award winning program with version 6.1. This version sports a new name and has a lot of new features and fixes that has truly made a great little program even better.
Whats new in v6.1 Some of the new features of this version of Visual Day Planner 6.1 are easy to miss if you have been using the earlier version, and some of the newer additions are right up front. Look at some of the new features just added;
Can be configured as a "Read Only" client with editing and saving options disabled - Shared database only - All editing and saving options disabled - Great for sharing while maintaining control
Automatically refreshes planner after a period of time - Shared database only - Reduces the need to manually refresh the planer every time someone else makes an update.
Automatically unlock planner cell after a period of time - Shared database only - When some users lock/edit a cell and forget to unlock it, this feature unlocks the call automatically
Some Bug Fixes were also fixed in this version, some of which were, Inconsistent behavior in Zoom/Daily View when font sizes and colors are changed, VDP failed to display properly when closed while minimized, and Miscellaneous minor network problems sharing a database among workgroups.
