Boundary Light Software TrayTool 3.1
A Tool For Your Tray
Brad Mills

Finally a great idea to improve Windows 95. Tray Tool 3.1 allows one to place tiny icons actually inside the Windows tray (bottom right hand corner where the time is) to be executed on a single click (or double click if it is preferred). This easily allows access to your most common programs, and does not provide any clutter on the screen. It uses the same icon the program would use.

Features

TrayTool 3.1 also includes many other handy features such as auto-start, "smartmemory explorer" which remembers the last directory your Windows Explorer was in and starts up there again. Adding programs is a snap, simply right-clicking on one of the programs it has added into your try will bring up an options menu for adding / modifying and deleting programs from the tray. Another great thing is that this program does NOT include its own icon in the tray to clutter it up, but rather hides it from view.

Popup Menu

If your tray is already filled up with icons, there is another option for you to try. TrayTool comes with a popup menu, which will allow you to only see the TrayTool icon in your tray, and then by right-clicking the icon, a list of the programs "pops up" and lets you choose which program you wish to execute. This easily selectable option allows you to save room and clutter in your Win95 tray, while still providing you with it's wonderful features.

Summary

TrayTool 3.1 is a handy little tool for anyone who uses Windows 95 on a regular basis, and at $15 for registration, you can't go wrong.
