Sausage Software HotDog Professional 5 Webmaster Suite
What's New?
Jim Fox

HotDog Professional 5 is the most powerful code-based editor on the market today. To some people, WYSIWYG editors are the "in" thing, but if you truly want to get a page to look and operate the way you want it to, you need to be able to view and manipulate code--and you don't want software changing code after you are done. HotDog Professional 5 gives you the best of both worlds. You can enter all of the code you want, but with all of HotDog's built in shortcuts and intelligent features, you can also create the most sophisticated and high tech Web site with ease.

In lieu of WYSIWYG, HotDog offers split view editing with its built in ROVER (Real-time Output ViewER), which lets you see how a page will look as you edit the code. ROVER offers features such as custom settings which allow you to design pages for different screen sizes (640, 800, 1024 or custom) and rulers which can be turned on to aid in the alignment of different page elements.
