How it All Works
allCLEAR takes a radically different approach to flowcharting. Users make a text outline of their process and the flowchart is automatically drawn for them, usually as fast as you can type words for the boxes. allCLEAR also allows users the ability to drag and drop any shape or branch shape they want into their diagram with ease. Moving, deleting, and editing are as simple as making a few mouse clicks. That left out person in a certain department that your boss forgot to tell you about is no longer a problem. All you do is drag a new shape onto the diagram and place it where you want it and, like magic, you are done! Sound to good to be true? Well it isn't. And with allCLEAR, tasks that used to take hours to complete can now be done in minutes, with just a little practice from the fantastic tutorial and examples that are on the included CD.

You can also add data or notes to each box in your diagram, and then selectively display and print that information. You can put a web or intranet address box on your chart and hyperlink instantly to other relevant information. You can even import Visio and Micrografx Flow charter files. you can publish allCLEAR diagrams on the web simply by exporting to common Internet graphics formats. There is a spell checker included with allCLEAR 4.0 that will allow users to quickly proof their work. OLE client, server and automation capabilities are also supported.
Still Sound too Good to Be True? The only noticeable downfall to this marvelous package would only appear if you use the minimum system requirements that SPSS lists. According to SPSS, allCLEAR 4.0 will run on a machine with the following requirements: Windows95 or Windows NT 4.0, 486 or higher IBM-compatible PC, 10 MB hard disk space, 16 MB RAM, and a VGA monitor (SVGA recommended). These all are true statements, but things seemed to fall when tested on a 486 machine. allCLEAR 4.0 is just too overpowering for a 486 and I suggest you use at least a Pentium 75 or higher to really enjoy the great benefits of this program without overtaxing your system. With that exception, allCLEAR truly is all CLEAR.
