Quick View Plus 6.0 This Program Tested with Flying Colors D. E. Levine
Quick View Plus 6.0 is a great, rather than a good, program. I say that because since I first discovered the program in version 2, it not only maintains the functionality of the original program, but it keeps getting better.
The package comes with a single CD ROM and an easy-to-follow user guide. I tested Quick View Plus 6.0 on Windows 98, ME, 2000 and NT4 and it worked well on all of the systems.
Let me be clear that Quick View Plus is not an absolute necessity since Windows operating systems don't require it to work. However, I've found that the addition of this progam adds increased functionality and efficiency to the system, as well as cutting down on the time I have to spend locating and utilizing different types of files.
Installation is a snap from the CD ROM, taking 3-4 minutes for automatic installation. I've never encountered any resistance, conflict, or interference from any of the other programs on my computers. In the case of the Me system, since I didn't have the external CD ROM available, I downloaded the software easily and effectively from the Jasc Software web site.
Once the program was installed, I was able to launch it from the Start Menu by going to the Programs/Quick View button.
