If you need to send documents from your handheld to another handheld user, you don't need to send them as e-mail attachments. You can actually beam your documents from your handheld to another user's handheld. Another handy feature is that if the other person doesn't have Documents to Go you can beam them the application as well as the document. That way, the person to whom you're beaming the document has everything they need to view the document.
DataViz also provides great support by answering basic questions and dealing with common problems both in the installation and information pamplet and at their Web site, under Windows support.
Currently, Documents to Go comes in English, French, Italian German and Spanish versions. There is also a Mac version. The program, in addition to supporting Word and Excel, also supports WordPerfect, Quattro Pro, Lotus, and Palm "Doc" features.
Documents to Go also supports bold, underlining, italics, indentations, auto bullets and numbering, justifications, and tables. You can edit your files on the Palm handheld once downloaded from the computer, or you can write directly onto the handheld and edit the documents before synching to the computer.
The Documents to Go program automatically compresses files in order to save memory on your handheld. You can also sync with your desktop e-mail (specifically Outlook and Lotus) and download both your e-mail and the attachments, If you're worried that some of those attachments are very big, special opetions allow you to limit the file sizes of attachments to be synchronized.
Pricing is really reasonable. A single-user license for the Professional Edition is $49.95. A five user license is $199.95, a 10-user license is 349.95, and a 30-user license is $899.95 Purchases can be made directly from DataViz or from resellers.
