My Favorites 1.0 With Options Like This It Couldn't Be Easier! Douglas Smith
My Favorites 1.0 is unique in several ways, such as the ability to customize the way it saves and views all links to the world wide web. One feature we really liked was opening links with a browser window size and location of our liking. To open a browser window small and on the left side of the desktop, simply drag and size the sample browser on the display window within the program. Move each of link to whatever grouping you like and launch it with a single mouse click.
My Favorites 1.0 does require Microsoft I.E. 4.0 and above to work, and does not yet work with Netscape. A right mouse click on the My Favorites 1.0 icon in the system tray will display options, and a left mouse click will display all of your favorites and groups. You basically get faster access to sites or bookmarks through one click in the system tray without first opening the browser, saving plenty of time and mouse clicks. Below are some of the ways it saves time and effort while surfing:
Groups your favorite sites and launches them simultaneously with just one mouse click.
Fetches as many web sites as you want!
Customize favorite Web pages to the maximum, or sets viewable area to suit.
Lets each site have its own browser size and location on the desktop: unique font, color, refresh rate and more!
Saves your favorite sites.
Organizes your bookmarks.
The interface is very easy to use, and most options are readily accessible through the options menu or tabs on each saved favorite. Loads very quickly, and a tutorial walks through step-by-step instruction for setup. Launches are quick and crisp, and multiple launches are as easy as 1,2,3!
