Adobe Illustrator is the tool of choice for professional graphic artists creating high-quality logos, illustrations, brochures, signs and package designs. It is also being used increasingly as a Web design and animation tool.
Version 8.0 has been around for a while now and is largely accepted as the illustration software for professionals. Although, historically, the Windows version of Illustrator fell far short of its MAC counterpart, version 8.0 (and then the update 8.01) finally has the two looking and acting alike.
