Are You Ready To Let Your Computer Do The Typing? Conclusion Jim Fox
After going through the setup procedure I found the software to be remarkably accurate. It comes with a built-in active vocabulary of 30,000 words and a total vocabulary of over 230,000 words. However, it does take a little getting used to. It's not like normal typing where you can develop your thoughts as you type. For best results you really need to know exactly what you are going to say before you begin. You can speak at a normal rate of speed but you need to pronounce each word clearly. The software does not type each word as you speak. Rather, you will be dictating and not see anything and then all of a sudden several words will pop on the screen. Another thing you must remember is to say "period" at the end of each sentence and to say "new paragraph" at the end of each paragraph. As you are dictating the software actually learns from its mistakes. The more you use it, the more accurate it becomes.
