Sonic Announces MyDVD Studio Deluxe 5 Creative Suite CD and DVD Toolkit for Video, Photos, Music, and Backup Eric Grevstad
Mon 9/22/03 -- Sonic Solutions has introduced a major upgrade to its DVD creation software. MyDVD Studio Deluxe 5 ($100) offers everything users need to burn high-quality, fully compatible DVDs and CDs with integrated video editing, Dolby Digital encoding, Hollywood-style menus and buttons, and unlimited MP3 ripping and automatic noise leveling for creating audio CDs.
OpenDVD technology permits re-editing of previously burned discs, while automated backup and archive functions save important data and copy tools make exact backups of CDs and DVDs. A premium DVD movie player and disc labeler are also included.
The $80 MyDVD Studio Video Edition 5 -- also sold at retail by Adaptec, as is the Deluxe suite -- offers the same complete DVD and CD video editing and authoring features and movie player, including special effects and Dolby Digital audio encoding. Users who just want to focus on video authoring can choose MyDVD 5 ($50) or MyDVD Deluxe 5 with integrated video editing ($70).
