The $100 ($90 download) package's new DVD Builder makes it easy to capture, edit, and combine videos and photos to create Hollywood-style home movies and photo slideshows on DVD, CD, VideoCD, or SVCD. Automatic DVD chapter creation and a multi-storyboard work area combine with professional-looking transitions and custom menu backgrounds, voiceovers, and music tracks. The program can also capture and burn video directly to DVD+RW discs.
Other new components include AudioCentral to play, manage, tag, rip, and record digital music, creating playlists and adding visualizations and sound effects and converting analog tapes and albums to MP3, WMA, and other formats; Drag-to-Disc (formerly DirectCD) for drag-and-drop file backup to CD or DVD with automatic disc formatting as needed; and PhotoSuite for organizing, editing, enhancing, and sharing digital photos and creating VideoCD slide shows with music.
Easy CD & DVD Creator 6 Platinum also offers an improved disc copier with support for raw-mode copying; Creator Classic to burn large data files across multiple discs; and an enhanced label creator with support for DVD cases and mini discs that automatically inserts song and track info on labels and inserts.
