Mon 10/28/02 -- Having reacquired its product from Sierra Entertainment, Back to the Beach Software has wasted no time releasing a major upgrade to Web Studio. Version 3.0 of the drag-and-drop HTML editor and Web site creation and management package adds over 50 new features, from animated GIFs and automatic thumbnail creation to photorealistic picture frames and textured text.
Web Studio 3.0 also offers intuitive HTML frames, a time-saving Duplicate Page feature, automated creation of rollover buttons, and instant online previewing -- even without a hosting service (although, speaking of which, Back to the Beach says its own iHostStudio.com offers users four free months plus five service levels up to full e-commerce capabilities).
The program is priced at $60, with a free 30-day trial available; current users can upgrade for $30.
