RecordNow Max 4.5 Enhances DVD Recording and Audio CD Mastering Burnin' Love Eric Grevstad
Mon 10/28/02 -- Whether you're recording CDs or DVDs, Stomp Inc.'s RecordNow Max 4.5 has new features to speed and simplify the job. The upgrade takes full advantage of the DVD-R, DVD-RW, DVD+R, and DVD+RW formats, including support for recording "multi-border" DVD-R and DVD+R/RW discs in multiple sessions, rather than all at once, just as with CD-R and CD-RW.
A new audio normalizer equalizes the volume level of audio CDs created from CD tracks or MP3, WAV, or WMA files with different volume levels, while DLA (Drive Letter Access) 3.57 provides fast background formatting of DVD-R and DVD-RW discs and compliance with the new Mt. Rainier specification.
The Windows XP/Me/98SE/2000-compatible RecordNow Max 4.5 lets users record to multiple discs simultaneously, as well as creating music, data, video, and bootable CDs from ISO images and live audio sources or ripping CD tracks into MP3 files at up to 320Kbps. It'll ship in November for $40.
