NeroMix Adds Audio Creation To CD Mastering Rip CD Tracks, Encode or Decode MP3/Pro, or Capture from LPs and Tapes Eric Grevstad
Mon 8/19/02 -- Ahead Software has converted its popular Nero Burning ROM into an all-in-one CD recording solution that lets you burn, mix, or edit audio in every possible way. For $50, the new NeroMix combines the company's stable, high-speed CD burning engine with a jukebox audio player, CD label designer, and visual effects studio.
In addition to burning or mixing audio or making on-the-fly CD copies for backup, NeroMix can transfer audio via a sound card (using a supplied cable) onto your PC's hard disk to capture old LP and tape recordings in the audio file format of your choice. The program can convert among audio CD, MP3, MP3 Pro, Twin VQ, WMA, WAV, and MIDI formats (a 30-track MP3/Pro encoder is included, with an unlimited encoder plug-in available at extra cost), and add digital track labeling to CDs so you can see what's playing.
Nero's Animation Studio brings music to life with special 3D visuals, while a variety of "skins" or designs stylize the Internet radio-compatible audio player. Finally, a Cover Designer lets you put your personal touch on CD labels.
