Corel Updates WordPerfect Family Pack, Trims Price Word Processing/Spreadsheet/Image Editing Bundle Now Takes Dictation Eric Grevstad

Though priced $10 below last year's Family Pack 3, this year's version contains all-new, up-to-date applications, led by WordPerfect 10 for letters, brochures, reports, and resumes; the Quattro Pro 10 spreadsheet for budgets, expenses, and household inventory; and Picture Publisher Digital Camera Edition (the former Micrografx title, replacing Corel's old Photo-Paint) for editing, enhancing, organizing, and publishing digital pictures.
The suite also includes ScanSoft's Dragon NaturallySpeaking Essentials speech-recognition and dictation software, with a free headset microphone; Avery DesignPro for creating and printing a variety of postcards, greeting cards, and T-shirt transfers; the 25,000-article Britannica Ready Reference Encyclopedia; and McAfee VirusScan to protect against online germs and worms.
