Mon 5/20/02 -- Aladdin Systems says its new StuffIt Deluxe 7.5 creates the smallest compressed archive files, saving even more disk space or online transfer time than the popular PKZip and WinZip. But in addition to taking less space, the new StuffIt promises more features, including Microsoft Office integration.
The OfficeReady StuffIt feature provides one-click compression and e-mail from within Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, while a new Self-Extracting Archive Builder creates archives that open automatically for painless document distribution, including optional text message displays for recipients and e-mail notification of successful deliveries.
New 128-bit encryption offers maximum privacy protection. And StuffIt Express Personal Edition works with Windows' Scheduled Tasks to automate data backups or file transfers.
