Adobe's New In-Between Image Application Adobe Photoshop Elements Byron Alley
Adobe has introduced a new graphic manipulation product for those who desire more functionality than offered in basic programs like PhotoDeluxe but who don't need the feature set or price of the full Adobe Photoshop. The new application, called Adobe Photoshop Elements, is targeted at mid-range users.
According to Adobe, the new product was originally intended as a bundled product. Photoshop Elements is now being sold as a separate product at a significantly reduced price (USD $99), with most of the same features as Adobe Photoshop, with the exception of some production-level capabilities. The new program will offer competition for programs such as JASC's Paint Shop Pro.
