Netscape 6 Around the Corner Netscape 6 Preview Release 3 Byron Alley
The last preview version of Netscape 6 has been released. The next release will be the official one. The question on many Internet users' minds will probably not be how this version compares with Netscape's previous releases. Instead, with IE estimated at 80% or more of the browser share, the question is how it compares with Microsoft's browser.
The new browser will finally have proper support for some of the standards that IE has supported for quite some time, as well as a redesigned user interface and much more customizability. Will this bring Netscape back into the game? It's hard to say.
